If I could live anywhere in the world, it would definitely be somewhere near the ocean. Or somewhere with a great view of the mountain. Or somewhere with a great view of the mountain that is also near the ocean.

If you are a Paul Wesley fan then you’ll know what I’m about to say is true: Paul is one of the most underestimated actors of the decade. We are all tired of seeing him getting nominated for awards, and not getting anything, ever. I want you all to imagine, just for a moment, how happy Paul would if he finally won it. just imagine that breathtaking smile on his face. Imagine how surprised and proud of his work he would be, and imagine how you would feel knowing you are one of the reasons he is like that.
And how are we gonna do that? There is no other way but voting, so first of all, you all need to vote EVERYDAY for him, but remember, you can only vote once a day. Now, we all know one vote is not gonna change anything, so why don’t we use tumblr to make a change? What I propose is for you, graphic maker, make graphics to move your followers on voting, gif makers, the same, or if you don’t feel like making any sort of art, just ask your followers, promote them, offer something they might want, LETS NOT GIVE UP.
It’s our chance to make Paul feel loved, the way he is supposed to feel.

STUDENTS in state-run universities and colleges now have more reasons to be mad about the budget cuts imposed by the government on education as no Philippine learning institution made it to the list of the top 400 schools in the world.
In the World University Rankings for 2011-2012 by the Times Higher Education (THE), not a single Philippine school made it to the top 400 list and the top 100 reputable schools in the world.
The report came as another major setback to the country’s higher education system, which is already marred by reports of violence, corruption and huge budget cuts imposed on government-run educational institutions.
THE characterized its rankings as the “world’s largest survey of academic opinion ever undertaken.” It took into account 13 separate performance indicators designed to capture the full range of university activities, from teaching to research and knowledge transfer.

Shake it Out - Florence + The Machine
A fitting song to my current state of mind. For now, I need to shake this out.
I want a BIG BIG BIG change in my life.
I want to move.
And no matter how much I say the opposite, I want to go back to the States. To visit. MAYBE to also work and live. I wanna go to New York. I wanna visit New York and be all “Empire State of Mind” while there. Be on Times Square. Walk the streets of Brooklyn. See the Upper East Side.
I want to live on my own and have an apartment and have new friends. Not that there’s anything wrong with my friends now. The part about living in my own house or apartment is something I want to do overseas. I’ll probably be homesick a lot during my birthday and holidays, though. I want to have more time for myself. I want to study and have my master’s degree.
I’m feeling like Belle from Beauty and the Beast —- wanting much more than this “provincial” life. Provincial is in quotation marks because anyone who knows me well knows that I live in the city and probably could not survive the lack of technology in the province. Although, I must say that I welcome the relaxed life in the province once in a while. But I think I like the hustle and bustle of the city more.
Anyway.
I am feeling a little lost. Like I’m in a rut. And I don’t know where to start finding a solution to get me out of this feeling. I ask the Lord and then I sometimes end up having dreams about being in the States. I end up thinking that I might be headed in that direction. When? I don’t know. Lord knows my patience for these things are rather short. And we all know His time is so much different from our time. So I pray for patience. And a good drastic change.
